This September, my family and I will visit Kumamoto and Miyazaki.
I just remembered a beautiful memory from twelve years ago.
Back in university, I visited the same places with a close friend.
We stayed surrounded by great nature—Aso felt as if it embraced us, and Takachiho was deeply mystical, almost sacred.
This time, I’d like to embrace a new experience: visiting the shrine of Amaterasu and witnessing Kagura, a sacred dance offered in prayer to the gods.
I’m truly looking forward to this new encounter.
I always enjoy preparing carefully before traveling—it’s part of the joy.
Over the past two weeks, I’ve booked a few activities that reflect our interests and pace. The highlight of this trip will be the scenic train rides: one through the volcanic landscapes of Aso, and another through the mythic beauty of Takachiho.
